Brief

CETS needed a simple, accessible website to promote their service and the co-operative teaching resources available to teachers and education advisers.

The visual design was to include their logo, straplines, and photography from a session by Yie Lim, our photographer. CETS wanted a clean-looking site.

Tasks and outcomes

As a new site for a new organisation we were working from scratch – and to a short deadline. A tight project plan was essential.

Using our copy guidelines, CETS produced draft text. We re-formatted this into page outlines and site map, this was used to flesh out and then refine the content.

Visual designs were produced next and amended in response feedback.

Then a draft working version of the site was built and further amendments made, with a day to spare before the CETS launch.

The site is built using WAI/W3C guidelines to a high level of accessibility.
