Scottish Education and Action for Development (SEAD)

Brief

SEAD needed a new website to support their education and campaigning work, having outgrown their old site. They needed to be able to add regular news stories and events listings themselves, and to manage their email newsletter subscriptions and mailouts online.

There was a large amount of information to go on the site (over 100 pages), but SEAD's budget didn't stretch far enough for us to do all of this work for them.

Tasks and outcomes

We built the site's structure using Wordpress as a content-management system. This allowed SEAD's volunteer editor to create pages and populate the site with text and images, while the design work was still in progress.

We gave the new site a fun and dynamic visual design in keeping with SEAD's approach.
