Simple, usable, accessible websites
The beauty of the web is in how much it can improve access to your organisation, its communications and its support networks. A well-designed site can also save time and money - yours and the people you help.
If you're looking for examples of our work, go to our portfolio.
Why work with us on your website?
Here are five good reasons:
- we know a lot about voluntary organisations (two decades' experience)
- our priorities are usability, accessibility and web standards - not fancy flash sites
- we use a thoughtful, needs-focused process
- we build sites that you can update yourselves or that we can update for you
- we offer a complete web design service - project management, copy-writing, usability, visual design, build and development
How do I commission a website?
First of all, take some time to think about your audience, your organisation and what you both need from the site. We can help you here - ask us for our questionnaire to fill out and we'll come up with a plan.
Don't rush it - websites can be complex even if they look simple. On average our websites take two to four months to complete.
Have a think about what you can spend (roughly) and don't keep it a secret. Once we have an idea of your budget, our job is to work out the best way to use it. If you're applying for funding, we can help with your proposal.
